I’ve got the Peak Design Qi2 wireless charging stand on my desk. It really is a very well-designed piece of equipment. I’ve been a fan of Shokz for a while. I usually prefer to use bone conduction rather than over-ear or in-ear headphones. Now I’ve got their OpenFit earbuds. They’re not bone conduction, but they don’t cover my ears or block out other sounds. They’re really comfortable. And the case nestles perfectly in the indentation in the back of the Peak Design wireless charging stand.

Luckey’s thoughts come as Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei refused to allow the Pentagon full use of the company’s AI systems for mass surveillance or to power fully autonomous weapons that operate without human oversight. As a result, the Department of Defense labeled the AI company a “supply-chain risk,” a designation usually reserved for foreign adversarial firms, such as the Chinese-based Huawei. Amodei said the label won’t have much of an impact on the company’s business, and that it will sue to overturn the designation. Still, it remains in discussions with the Pentagon regarding use of its AI models and tools.
Iran borders the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway in the Persian Gulf through which exports from the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Iraq all flow. Shipmasters are now nervous to sail through it.
